During the 2007 7th grade season the
Iowa Stars played in 10 Major tournaments, reaching the Championship Game an unprecedented 9 times, and in the other tournament we finished in the Elite 16 at the AAU National Tournament (also as 6th graders Elite16 finish). Our season highlight occurred in our final tournament winning the MAYB National Tournament.

Iowa Stars formed the spring of 2006 as 6th grade Eastern Iowa Select Team.

The fall of 2007 we merged with Martin Brothers Select for our 8th grade season.
              They are Coached by Todd Harrington & Steve Luethje.
